Notice on Holding the Information Session for the 2026 National College Students' Scientific Instrument Innovation Competition

To further tap into college students' potential for scientific and technological innovation, enhance their comprehensive abilities in the R&D, design and application of scientific instruments, and further promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading of scientific instruments, the Information Session for the 2026 National College Students' Scientific Instrument Innovation Competition will be held recently at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Time and Venue of the Information Session

Time: 10:00-11:30, Wednesday, January 21, 2026Venue: Room 40025, Electrical Machinery Building, Harbin Institute of Technology

II. Meeting Agenda

· 09:50-10:00 Check-in

· 10:00-11:00 Competition Overview and Theme Sharing for Participation

· 11:00-11:30 On-site Q&A and Exchange

III. Competition Briefing (Key Content of the Information Session)

The National College Students' Scientific Instrument Innovation Competition is co-sponsored by the China Instrument and Control Society and Beihang University, with strong support from the Teaching Guidance Committee for Instrument Majors of Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education and multiple government and industrial institutions. The competition aims to build a high-level platform for innovative practice and exchange, encouraging college students to carry out original research and engineering practice in the field of scientific instruments.

Participants: Current students of universities and colleges nationwide

· University Group: Undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students

· Vocational College Group: Higher vocational college students, vocational undergraduate students

Participation Form: Individual or team entry, with no more than 5 members per team

Theme Directions for University Group Entries (including but not limited to): Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Energy Materials, Integrated Circuits, Environmental Science, Intelligent Manufacturing

Key Evaluation Criteria: Innovation, Feasibility, Team Competence and Social Value

Undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as supervising teachers, who are interested in scientific instruments, intelligent measurement, integrated circuits, engineering innovation and achievement transformation are welcome to participate actively.
