I. Eligibility Requirements

1. Outstanding senior undergraduate students of 2026 from first-class universities who are eligible for recommended admission to postgraduate programs (referred to as recommended students) at their undergraduate institutions and intend to apply for postgraduate studies (including direct doctoral programs) at our university.

2. Excellent academic performance: The comprehensive academic performance of the first 3 years (or first 5 semesters) of undergraduate studies ranks among the top in the major, meeting the requirements for recommended postgraduate admission of the home university. Recommended students from first-class universities or those whose majors rank in the top 10% are preferred.

3. Science and engineering recommended students with a strong interest in the instrumentation discipline, aspirations to engage in scientific research in related fields, and strong research capabilities are preferred.

II. Application Process

1. Application Methods

(1) Log in to the official summer camp registration system of Harbin Institute of Technology Graduate Admission Network (http://hityzb.hit.edu.cn/zhxy-yjs-zs_v2/common/login?redirectUrl=/pc/xly/index) to register directly and fill out the following questionnaire simultaneously.(2) Questionnaire link: http://ltyuan5959.mikecrm.com/CXjcvAr(3) Registration deadline: 17:00 on June 30, 2025.

2. Application Materials

(1) Personal resume;(2) Scanned copy of the original academic ranking certificate stamped by the school’s academic affairs office or the applicant’s college/department (the original will be verified on-site);(3) Scanned copy of the original academic transcript stamped by the school’s academic affairs office or the applicant’s college/department (the original will be verified on-site);(4) English proficiency certificates (CET-4, CET-6, TOEFL scores, GRE scores, etc.);(5) Other supporting materials, including:① Published papers: Provide the full text of 1 representative paper and the journal catalogs and first pages of other published papers;② Various award certificates obtained during undergraduate studies;③ Other certificates of outstanding performance.

Applicants should integrate electronic versions (or scanned copies) of the above materials into a single PDF file. Name the file as 2025 School of Instrumentation Summer Camp + Full Name + Undergraduate University and set the email subject to the same format. Send the email to hityqzsh@163.com.

3. Admission List Confirmation

The school will determine the admission list by focusing on evaluating applicants’ academic performance, research capabilities, and comprehensive quality based on their online registration information. The admission list will be notified via the online registration system or email by July 5. Applicants not admitted will not be notified separately. Admitted participants must bring the following materials for qualification review upon registration: valid personal ID, and the original copies of materials 2-4 mentioned above (for verification).

III. Activity Arrangements

Registration period: Online registration from May 7 to June 30.

Activity period: Around July 12 (combining online and offline activities).

Day 1: Participant registration and accommodation arrangement (registration time and venue will be notified to offline participants in real time);

Day 2: (1) Opening ceremony; (2) Introduction to the school and discipline; (3) Academic reports by experts; (4) Campus visit;

Day 3: (1) Major introduction and face-to-face communication between teachers and students; (2) Closing ceremony.

IV. Other Instructions

The school will uniformly cover accommodation, meals, campus visit expenses, and personal insurance for all participants during the summer camp in Harbin. For non-local students who are finally admitted to the School of Instrumentation, Harbin Institute of Technology through recommended admission (subject to the admission results of the national postgraduate recommended admission system in September), the school will reimburse the round-trip second-class seat train ticket costs between Harbin and their undergraduate university. Participants must provide closed-loop train tickets with consistent departure and arrival points as reimbursement vouchers and keep relevant receipts.

Participants are required to attend all summer camp activities after registration.

The specific schedule may be adjusted according to actual circumstances.

Specific policies shall be subject to the university’s official documents of the current year.
