Hosted by the University Trade Union and organized by the Department of Physical Education and the School of Mechatronics Engineering, this year's Vanguard Cup Faculty Basketball League was held from November 1 to 14. In the highly competitive Group B with many strong teams, the athletes of the School of Instrument Science and Engineering representative team showed strong strength from the very beginning of the tournament. They advanced triumphantly through all rounds, going all out in every game with resolute tactical execution and seamless teamwork. During the competition, our representative team secured crucial victories against strong opponents such as the School of Astronautics and the School of Architecture by virtue of exquisite basketball skills and unyielding willpower.

This participation is not only a victory in the tournament, but also a concentrated embodiment of the cohesion, combat effectiveness and mental outlook of the faculty and staff of our school. On the court, every exquisite pass, every accurate shot and every tenacious defensive round by the team members won rounds of applause from the on-site audience. With practical actions, they perfectly interpreted the profound connotation of the Vanguard spirit – being both the backbone vanguards in professional work and the pioneering models who dare to strive and are good at cooperating on the sports field.
The achievement of this excellent result is inseparable from the kind care of the school leaders and the strong support of all teachers and students. The championship honor will inspire all members of the School of Instrument Science and Engineering to devote themselves to the future teaching, scientific research and management work with more enthusiasm and higher morale, continue to strive for first-class results in various fields, and make greater contributions to the development of the school and the university.
